In this article, I’ll give you 15 easy to follow steps so you can complete your own DIY Shopify SEO Audit.

Completing this audit will give you a great start on your Shopify SEO so you can be sure Google will take notice.

Believe me, when Google does notice you, your eCommerce business can change for the better very quickly.

Before We Begin
Before we jump into the steps, I’m making a few assumptions.

You have already setup a search console account and submitted your site’s sitemap for indexing.
Your site is at least a month old and has had time to index your pages.
If these assumptions are accurate in your case, continue reading and get ready for more traffic!

Step 1: Get Your Shopify Site Out of the “Rick Zone”
Before you can begin to get traffic from search engines such as Google, you need to be certain you’re not stuck in the Rick Zone.

Think of the Rick Zone like the friend zone for dating, only completely unfriendly.

You need to get search engines to notice your Shopify site before you can warm them up to becoming a friendly neighbor.

In search engine terms, this means you need to be indexed so you can show up in search results.

Each page on your site that you would like to be found in search results should show up in Google’s site index.

Knowing this, your first step is to see if your pages ARE indexed and if so, which ones.

Use The “Site:” Modifier

Using the “Site:” modifier, search Google for your domain and see what pages have already been indexed for your site.

Example: “Site:yourdomain.com”

This search will quickly tell you how many pages Google has indexed for your site and which pages those are.
Pay special attention to the number of results near the top of the page.

Does this number look about right, or is it way too high or way too low?

Tips for Getting High Ticket Dropshipping Suppliers

Drop shippers all have one thing in common, they need good suppliers to be successful.

Having floods of traffic to your drop shipping site does absolutely no good if you don’t have suppliers or have poor suppliers.

Quality suppliers who can fill orders quickly, be reached by phone during business hours, and stand behind their products, are the foundation to your budding drop shipping business.

Funny enough, getting quality suppliers is where I see most people trying to take shortcuts or just giving up altogether. Time after time I find lists of drop shipping suppliers being sold on the internet, some are even free.

Guess what, most of them share a common trait, they are crap! In addition to being crap, most of them are lists of companies who are playing middleman for the real manufacturers and they are getting a cut from every one of your sales.

Getting good suppliers requires you to go a little old school and pick up the phone.

Once you know what you want to sell, and have made a list of brands that make that product, you really need to plan out some time and make yourself pick up the phone to call each of them. Some of them are going to tell you no, some of them are going to blow you off completely, and some of them are going to use terms you may not have heard before. But don’t worry, by the time you read to the end of this post, you should be able to handle almost any supplier.
